Isn’t all picture framing the same?

Not at all! Of course, you can pick up a mass-produced frame at a big box store, or have your artwork framed at low-quality, high-turnover shop—but if you're looking for something special, have work that needs special attention, or are concerned about quality, then it's important to know your framer. You should feel comfortable entrusting your family heirloom, old photograph, or investment to someone who is passionate about art and will work with you to enhance your favorite piece.

Aren’t all materials the same?

Absolutely not! All the materials I use are appropriate for long-term conservation: all my glass provides UV protection (with museum-grade glass available); all mats are acid-free archival. The frames I carry are solid wood or metal (no compressed wood scraps or plastic) and we even have eco-friendly options such as recycled barn wood and bamboo.

Can you frame three-dimensional objects or clothing?

Yes! Sports jerseys, memorabilia, children's clothing (such as ceremonial outfits), toys… if you would like it framed, bring it in!

What about artwork that has special framing needs?

I specialize in the presentation and display of difficult pieces—bring in whatever you have and we will work together on a design. Size, medium, age, fragility, subject matter… challenges are welcome!

I have several different pieces (such as photographs, memorabilia, collectibles) that I want to put together and display nicely… can you do that?

Yes! Bring in what you have with any ideas and we can work on some concepts together. Collages can be a beautiful way to show objects that have special meaning to you.
